Open Day- Doug Rainey Triples

Lancefield Bowling Club’s 2022-2023 season was officially opened on Sunday 25 September.  President Jeff Smith welcomed all members and thanked those that helped working around the club during the off season.

Jeff then called on our current Club Champions to open roll the jack and first bowl – Ann Shipcott rolled the first Jack of the season and Gordon Charles rolled the first bowl of the season.

Teams then took to the greens and played two games of eight ends.  The results as follows:  Runners Up – Ann Shipcott and Aaron Young.  Winners – Jenny Smith, Ken Johnson and Bev Holmes (skip). 

The green ran well and the weather was pleasant.  A great day to open the season.
