Doug Rainey Triples/Opening Day 2023

Doug Rainey Triples and Opening of the Green for Season 2023/2024 was held Sunday 17th September 2023.

The first Jack was rolled by Bev Holmes – Ladies Club Champion from last season. The first bowl was rolled by Gordon Charles – last seasons men’s runner-up and Life Member.

Eight teams took to the greens and played 3 games of 10 ends. As there was no three game winner the eventual winners were the team of Tim Hamilton, Ken Johnson and Jeff Holmes (skip) winning two games with 10 shots up.

The day was finished off with afternoon tea.
